Teeter, R.A. and Whelan-Berry, K.S. 2008.My firm versus our firm: the challenge of change in small, growing professional service firms. Journal of Business Inquiry. Presented at the Academy of Management National Conference, August 2007. This paper presents a case study and discusses the issues facing managers of small professional service firms during each phase of the organizational life cycle. Primary and secondary research by the authors provide insight into the failure of a planned change in a regional accounting firm and what challenges other leaders face as they progress in the organizational life cycle.

Greer, D. and Teeter, R. A. A summer abroad: the opportunities, challenges and tax benefits of teaching overseas.This paper discusses foreign employment opportunities for university professors and outlines several programs that serve as a starting point for those interested in teaching abroad. This was my first co-authored article and will be submitted to a regional business journal.

Teeter, R.A. and Whelan-Berry, K.S. Mid-level management and internal controls: keeping up with Sarbanes-Oxley. This paper will provide empirical evidence to the effect of accounting legislation on middle management and their awareness and response to internal controls. This paper will include research of my design and choosing. Data will be gathered by summer 2007. Through this I am gaining an understanding of methods analysis and the journal submission process.

Teeter, R.A. Evaluating the effectiveness of international accounting standards. This paper considers the views of several scholars toward convergence toward international accounting standards. It provides an analysis of current trends as well as implications for the accounting profession.
